MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN LINCOLN COUNTY REVEALS DRIVER NOT LICENSED, BIKE STOLEN
TOWN OF WILSON – On Saturday September 13th, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to CTH CC in the Town of Wilson for a motorcycle crash with injuries. Deputies discovered that the 59-yr-old man from Appleton who was driving failed to negotiate a curve, sending him off of the road and into a culvert. As a result of the crash the driver sustained minor injuries. He was cited for operating without a license and no cycle endorsement.
The bike was later found to have been reported stolen in Waupaca County back in 2021. The man told deputies he had purchased it and believed everything was legitimate. The case remains under investigation, and criminal charges are possible.
